In general Christmas time has become more and more materialistic over the years, but by Krsna's arrangement He has arranged so that it can be a time of increased book distribution. This certainly must be pleasing to all that the date can be used more for its original purpose, to help everyone worship Krsna. Yes, our Gaura-Nitai Deities have a tree -- it's a rosemary bush, and Garuda is flying down from the branches.
