Guest guest
To Jahnu prabhu I think you are (intentionally?) misunderstanding something here. I have never applauded the gurukulis suing of ISKCON. I have commented to your arrogant comments about the parents of the abused children. I have also commented on your very, very harsh attitude and namecalling of devotees. I also thought we were on friendly terms and was surprised to recieve very antagonistic letters, both publicly and privately from you. ---------- Regarding the rest of your posting: In my "career" as a devotee I´ve have always tried to be loyal to the authorities, that was after all the main principle in spiritual life, we were taught. After many years I found out that my loyalty was being misused and I (and my family) was only used as a pawn in some leaders chessgame. The sexual childabuse in Mayapur and other places also tilted me. And of course the whole scandal around Sri Visnupada didn´t beautify the picture. In general I don´t like the very confined lines of communications in ISKCON. I also don´t approve of the very rampant cocksure we-and-them mentality. Especially I don´t like someone blaming the parents of the abused children for having neglected their children. So I guess you are right I have some bitterness in me. But I try to swallow it and maybe one day I can see more of Krishnas overall picture. For sure I don´t pretend to be innocent myself. Apart from that I can tell you that the most far-out and fantastic experience I have had in this lifetime was in Prabhupadas ISKCON.
