Yes, that is also the way to see it. But the question

remains, again, to protect "normal women" from what and

from whom? The answer is, from the lust (and the anger,

when lust frustrated) of men. "Kama esa krodha esa rajo-

guna-samudbavah".

The idea is, basically, to divert this lust of men from

their wives, daughters, wives of other men, and so on,

to the certain lesser group of women in the society -

prostitutes.

Now, I also do not think that all prostitutes in the "vedic"

times were noble and Vaisnavas, devotees of the Lord that

performed that type of devotional service to Krsna. Yes,

that may be said for Dvaraka, Krsna's city. But from the

example of Ajamila's life, we see the type of a prostitute

just as some from the streets of Hamburg - a sinful drunken

sudrani.

In any case, seeing it this way or that way, the cause for

the existence of the prostitute is to be found in men's

lust. Not that prostitutes happen to be, so let's us,

"innocent vedic men", check out what these creatures are all

about.

So, men of ISKCON (that are from this category, and eager to

have the "whore ministry"), simply pay the visit to a prostitute

in the place you live at, and both purposes (satisfaction of

your lust & protection of ISKCON matajis) will be served.

What this "whores in ISKCON" proposal from Jivan Mukta

has to do with establishment of varnasrama-dharma anyway?

I suppose we can simply leave it behind our backs. First

start with figuring out your varna that you are closest

to, not a whore. "Krishna-varna" can even a prostitute clame

to be belonging to, se we got no where from that.
