However, I > find the idea of this "next acarya" business is beyond our ability to > gainfully speculate about. > For you everything that you insist on seams to be of "speaks for itself" category. But you keep speaking and trying to convince the audience into such "self-speaking truths". Now, we are back to "'next acarya' business", ain't we? However, now it's not anymore a "straw-man" argument, but it's something beyond our ability to gainfully "speculate about". So we might face the promotion of NM as the next ISCKON acarya, but we got not to "speculate" over it. Because we can't understand it. What could be the next? Some self-proclaimed Incarnation of God appears, and then we have another "Srila" with the same "wisdom" -- "It's beyond your ability to gainfully speculate about". Once Narayana Maharaja stops trying to act as the superior authority to the ISCKON's gurus/leaders, and once his followers stop telling/insisting how he is the next acarya in ISCKON, then we also might stop "speculating" over it. Please go to Narayana Maharaja's camp and tell **them** to stop speculating over something that is beyond **their** understanding. Will you do that, Srila prabhu? -------------------------------- First you stress SIKSA as the primal way of determining our line. Thus you go establishing the position of Narayana Maharaja in relationship to Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati, and consequently to Srila Prabhupada. But when asked for more specifics that would clarify exact place of NM in the Guru-parampara line, then you suddenly switch the subject and go saying it was "that we might better understand OUR position." NOT *our* position, Srila prabhu. We understand it. In ISCKON we are either disciples or granddisciples of Srila Prabhupada. However, if somebody wishes to change his/her position, so yes, everyone is free. It was the position of NM in the line of our Guru parampara that you wanted to disclose to us, not OUR position. Try to keep coherent in upholding your points, and try to keep concentrated on a particular topic, don't make some "self-evident mush" out of everything. > An Acarya's words and actions should speak for themselves. If there's any > doubts or questions, that for us to clear up personally not to splatter > our hearsay all over the e-waves. While there are two tendencies -- to > criticize or praise -- what is the most harmful is criticism. Above all, > avoid sadhu-ninda, this is my point. Then go to Agraya and other NM promoters and tell them to stop presenting Narayana Maharaja over the Internet as the ISCKON acarya, as the Guru that all the members of ISCKON are to be brought to him. Then you stop telling us how "honey" is to be found in Gaudiya Math. Then you get of air and let "an Acarya's word and cation speak for themselves", and stop finally splattering your hearsay all over the e-waves. You promoters of Narayana Maharaja are so LOUD in promoting him, as well as aggressive in it. But when one responds in non-acceptance mood, then you go: "Tshhhhhhst... not so loud.. it's to be cleared personally.. not here in public..." - mnd
