Guest guest
>Conclusion? -- >Bg 8.28 >"A person who accepts the path of devotional service is not bereft of the >results derived from studying the Vedas, performing austere sacrifices, >giving >charity or pursuing philosophical and fruitive activities. At the end he >reaches the supreme abode." Thanks for your nice, funny and fired-up explanations. Could one also conclude on the basis of your above qoute, that varnasrama is for a great deal concerned with people who are not so much on the path of devotional service? But that the system is very much meant for their upliftment so that they eventually will follow Krishnas advice in Bhagavad-gita: "sarva dharman parityajya..." (Bg. 18.66)?
