VedaBase => SVA 3: Savarana-sri-gaura-mahima I will not to the idea that Gaudiya Matha temples who have the deity of Lord Caitanya alone, alongside the deity of Radha Krishna are faulty. You also find in Sri Caitanya Math in Mayapura, the original temple of Srila Bhaktissidhanta, has the lone deity of Lord Caitanya alongside Sri Sri Radha-Gandharvika Giridhari. It is a simple tattva understanding Lord Caitanya as the combined form of Radha Krishna. Sometimes there is a Gaura-Gadadhara temple, in that respect, Gauranga is Krishna, while Gadadhara is Srimati Radharani. Lord Caitanya is always complete whether He is with His associates, or alone in His form as Radha-Krishna combined. I guess it requires deep realisation on our part to understand this. In our temples we worship Gaura-Nitai, while in many Gaudiya Math temples, they worship Lord Caitanya alone in His aspect as Radha-Krishna. As I mentioned in my earlier posting, Srila Prabhupada personally donated his deity of Lord Caitanya to Kesavaji Gaudiya Matha. So I will say it is acintya-bheda-abheda tattva.
