Guest guest Posted October 17, 2001 Report Share Posted October 17, 2001 He also felt separation from Rupa Gosvami, and when Rupa Gosvami entered into the aprakata-lila (eternal, unmanifest pastimes), Raghunatha dasa Gosvami composed this sloka( Stavavali, Sri Prarthanasraya-caturdasaka 11 ): “Now that I no longer have the sustainer of my life, the land of Vraja has become empty and desolate. Govardhana Hill has become like a great python and Radha-kunda has become like the gaping mouth of a ferocious tigress.” Raghunatha dasa Gosvami felt that he was so unfortunate because Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu departed this world and left him behind. After that he always resided with Svarupa Damodara, but soon afterwards he also departed. Next he took shelter of Gadadhara Pandita, but soon he also left the world.
