SB 1.4.14: süta uväca dväpare samanupräpte tåtéye yuga-paryaye jätaù paräçaräd yogé väsavyäà kalayä hareù SYNONYMS sütaù—Süta Gosvämé; uväca—said; dväpare—in the second millennium; samanupräpte—on the advent of; tåtéye—third; yuga—millennium; paryaye—in the place of; jätaù—was begotten; paräçarät—by Paräçara; yogé—the great sage; väsavyäm—in the womb of the daughter of Vasu; kalayä—in the plenary portion; hareù—of the Personality of Godhead. TRANSLATION Süta Gosvämé said: When the second millennium overlapped the third, the great sage [Vyäsadeva] was born to Paräçara in the womb of Satyavaté, the daughter of Vasu. ---- This seems to be the only place supporting this explanation. I also heard it rather refers to yuga-sandhya, short time period between two yugas. See e.g. SB 1.3.25, 3.11.18-20, and CC Adi 3.29.
