KAMALA-NAYANA BICHA'TEJA',PAVANA MILI,

SAMSANA JEHI PIYA JIJAI.

MILI'AKASHA'JAHAM MAHARASA-RASA

LALI-LALA NITA BHIJAI.

RAHYO 'PRANA'SO PRANANATHA KO,

KYAUM'KRIPALU'KARA MIMJAI?

 

 

A virahini says very cleverly:

 

"O beloved Shyamasundara! I have heard that the imparting of divine-love is

very painful to You. Therefore I do not want love. Another reason for not

being desirous of love is that after attaining this love, the premika (the

individual soul) always craves to meet her Beloved, and her body, mind and

vital breath all burn in the fire of separation. What I want from you is

only this that after my death, You accept the five elements of my body -

ether, air, fire, water and earth as Your eternal servants according as I

say.

Let the water element mingle with that stream of tears, which flows from

Your lotos-eyes out of joy at the time of meeting with Kishori Ji. Let the

element of earth mix with the dust of Your lotos-feet. O Beloved! In the

same way let the element of fire mingle in Your lotos-eyes, and the element

of air in Your breath. And let the element of ether mix in that divine

Seva-Kunja, where You and Kishori Ji are always drowned in the ocean of

divine-love-bliss of maharasa with innumerable gopis."

"If somebody questions as to why this virahini (a gopi who feels so much

separation) cares so much for the five elements of her body and does not

care for her vital breath at all,then the answers is this: this vital breath

is not mine,this is Shyamasundara's, the Lord of my life.Therefore,after my

leaving this body,He will take it Himself,why should I care for this?"
