File areas

Dear Vaishnavas, ___o_

 

I was informed that the files in file areas are not named properly, giving

71565800.zip in Krsna Katha (KK) as an example. I believe it is one of few

exceptions. The files in KK and Vaishnava Library (VL) are pretty well

identified by file names and descriptions.

 

So if you upload a file, give it a name and description as clear as

possible, please. Thank you in advance.

About file areas

 

In KK and VL there are requests for certain books from time to time and then

I or someone else answers that the book is in the file area. What does it

mean?

 

Every conference has a file area, or storage place for files. What Wincom

users can do:

 

Viewing the list of files: Commands/Download and Upload/List files

The same can be done online by typing "go <nameconf>" and "list files".

 

Downloading a file: Commands/Download and Upload/Download file

 

Uploading a file: Commands/Download and Upload/Upload file

 

So if you look for a book, please first see what is already available. Then

if you need a help with locating other books on internet you can write into
