Thank God the GBC has not attempted varnasrama

Good points, and of course essential. But at least they could have started

*something*.

 

You are right, we are not ready to *implement* varnasrama. But we are

certainly ready to start focusing on it as a solution to the ills. ISKCON

has been in crisis management since Srila Prabhupada left. Times when things

seemed to be in a lull were times when fallen Gurus were exploiting their

disciples and committing all varieties of abuse in the guise of advanced

souls. The damage done is still being counted.

 

The movement needs an international agenda for creating varnashrama systems.

The points you made are among the first to be addressed in order to create a

healthy society.

 

I share Janesvara Prabhus frustration that still, after almost 25 years, as

the movement is showing advanced symptoms of social decay, The solutions

which Srila Prabhupada has suffused in his teachings are being ignored.

 

What can one do in such a situation? I guess the only thing we can do is

pray to the lord to send someone who can lead ISKCON into a varnasrama age.

Either that or do it ourselves in whatever small ways we can.
