Guest guest Posted February 5, 1999 Report Share Posted February 5, 1999 There has recently been some discussion about which COM users should, and which should not, have 'ACBSP' as part of their COM user name. After consulting with several senior devotees, we are therefore putting in place the following policy. The tag 'ACBSP' will be part of the user name only for Srila Prabhupada's direct initiated disciples. For deciding COM user names only, the authority for who is and who is not Srila Prabhupada's disciple will be the database of initiated disciples compiled by Her Grace Mahamaya Devi Dasi. Users who are not included in the database but believe they should be should take the matter up with Mahamaya Dasi herself or, in the event of an unresolved disagreement, with some appropriate member of the GBC. The COM Sysops will not get involved. They will simply accept the database as the standard authority for COM. This policy provides the Sysops a clear, simple, neutral way to assign and maintain user names for Srila Prabhupada's disciples, without trying to make case-by-case judgments.
