Dear devotees.

Please accept my respectful obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

I am glad to inform you that by the grace of Lord Krishna, now we have

started WESTERN UINION money transfer service from Sridham Mayapur itself.

Now you can pick up your Western Union money transfer from our ISKCON

Mayapur office, "Mayapur Travel Seva". This service is offered absolutely

FREE. For those who don't know, Mayapur Travel Seva is a devotee run

travel service offering air travel / transport services to residential as

well as visiting devotees and guests, and is located at Room 131, Chakra

bldg. which is only a few steps away from the main Temple of Sri Sri

Radha-Madhava.

I don't think I need to introduce WESTERN UNION but just in case, in brief,

Western Union Financial Services Inc. (based in New Jersey, U.S.A.) is

having more than 100,000 agent locations worldwide. Money transfer thru

Western Union (WU) is super quick (money comes in minutes), it's affordable

and fully legal.

Previously WU transfer used to be expensive but recently they have reduced

their tariff. Please check it out at any local WU agent location before you

decide to transfer your money thru some other means. You can also write to

me to find out their tariff in your country. Absolutely no money is

deducted at the receiving end.

Here is what you need to do for sending money:

To send money:

Step 1

Simply go to the nearest Western Union agent location. The agent will give

you a simple form "To send Money". Just fill it out.

Step 2

Present your completed form and the money to the agent. Be sure to get a

receipt with a Control Number.

Step 3

Inform the receiver of the transfer, the Control Number, and the amount of

money that you sent.

Within minutes, the money you sent will be available for payout to your

intended recipient in Sridham Mayapur at Mayapur Travel Seva.

To receive money:

Step 1

Be sure that the money is sent though a WU agent. Your sender will notify

you when the money was sent and the amount.

Step 2

Once the sender notifies you, come to Mayapur Travel Seva, provide photo

identification (e.g. your passport) and fill out a simple you will be given.

Step 3

We will check the details in our computer network and once verified, the

money will be handed over to you. This should take a few minutes.

For Indian citizens, please note that due to government of India law Indian

residents cannot receive cash more than INR 50,000 in a single payment

although non-Indians can receive any amount of money in cash. If you are

sending money more then 50,000/- for an Indian citizen then the receiver

will receive money through bank cheque. Alternatively you may tell the WU

agent there to split your amount into more than one part, each part worth

50,000/-. This way the receiver can get all money in cash.

The above rule doesn't apply to non-Indians and they can receive any amount

of money in cash.

I hope devotees worldwide will welcome this good news and take advantage of

it. This will also help reduce the need to carry hard cash while traveling

to India. Please bless me that I can do some seva to the holy dham and all

vaisnavas, and thus please Srila Prabhupada.

Hare Krishna.

You servant,

Bhadra Balaram das
