Dear Vaisnavas!

 

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

 

This letter is a humble request from His Holines Sridhar Swami and his

servants to all the devotees and friends for your blessings, prayers and

good wishes.

 

We believe that most of you already know everything in regard of his health

and bad prognosis which shocked all of us few weeks ago.

 

For several past years Maharaja had fought Hepatitis C which is cause of

his liver cirrhosis. When liver functions are improper many other bodily

functions are disrupted.One of them is accumulation of the fluid in the

abdomen.When fluid is accumulated the pressure and pain are being produced

on other organs in the abdominal area .Such fluids are generally taken out

mechanically(draining). In January this year Maharaja went to hospital in

Mumbai to take out fluids and tests performed gave some indication of

possible liver cancer.

 

Shortly after that Sridhar Maharaja went to Canada for more examination and

possible liver transplant. After the team of doctors,

(transplant specialists) got test results-more than three cancers on the

liver were discovered thus making Maharaja "unfit" for transplant.

 

Doctors suspected that cancer has already spread all over the body didn't

give Maharaja a hope stating how in such situation he could leave the body

at any moment.

 

Maharaja immediately left from Canada to Mayapur preparing himself to

whatever was to happen. He was ready to start fasting and later leave his

body right after Sri Panca-tattva installation.

 

Tridandi Prabhu(ACBSP) from Italy who's wife had cancer disease and was

cured by ayurvedic doctor from Kerala in south India approached Maharaja

wanting to help him fight with the disease.

He immediately made contact with the doctor who came in Mayapur to see

Maharaja. Doctor is very positive and has assured Maharaja's that disease

would be cured-not only cancer but Hep C as well.

 

Thus Maharaja became encouraged to keep fighting for recovery in order to

continue with his service to Srila Prabhupada.

 

Despite difficult situation Maharaja is very positive and enthusiastic to

stay with us, asking all the Vaisnavas to be kind ,send their blessings and

keep him in their prayers.Many of you were already very kind troughout the

years encouraging Maharaja and giving him support in different ways.

 

At this time he needs your prayers more than ever before.

 

Your compassion and mercy were source of strength for fighting against this

heavy disease troughout last 7 years and continuing his service to Srila

Prabhupada and Vaisnavas.
