At the present moment we have just passed through five thousand years of the

Kali-yuga, which lasts 432,000 years. Before this there was Dv€para-yuga

(800,000 years), and before that there was Tret€-yuga (1,200,000 years).

Thus, some 2,005,000 years ago, Manu spoke the Bhagavad-g…t€ to his disciple

and son Mah€r€ja Ikv€ku, the king of this planet earth.

Someone suggested some adjustments in the figures given above:

 

1. "Dv€para-yuga (864,000 years)" instead of "(800,000 years)"

2. "Tret€-yuga (1,296,000 years)" instead of "(1,200,000 years)"

3. "some 2,165,000 years ago, Manu spoke" instead of "some 2,005,000 years"

 

The purport has more figures and I expect him to give more suggestions for

adjustments soon.

 

Shall I make the adjustments? (I will ask again for the upcoming

suggestions.)
