Dear Suresvara Prabhu,

 

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

 

Regards from Kansas City at the Rupanuga Vedic College. Progress is being

made here; we have about twenty full-time students and staff. My annual East

European preaching tour soon begins and since Vijnana dasa has relocated to

the Middle East for preaching in Israel and Greece, there is a wide expanse

to be filled when I am away. The college has the administration in place to

function smoothly during my absense but there is a necessity for the

presence of a senior devotee/preacher. That's why I am contacting you.

 

The RVC invites you to come and stay at RVC as a visiting professor while I

am away from the campus. You would be provided with a nice private

room/office with nearby bathroom. You would be expected to give Srimad

Bhagavatam or Bhagavad-gita class daily, the Sunday feast lectures and

counsel devotees if needed. You could give other classes as you wish.

 

You would be expected to attend all morning and evening programs at the

temple, participate in harinam on Wednesday from 2 to 3:30pm and on Saturday

evening from 6PM to 8:20PM.

 

Prasadam, accomodation and e-mail access will be provided. The RVC will

provide roundtrip airfare for you. It is an excellent place for study,

writing and preaching as you like.

 

There are three new bhaktas presently and another five are enrolled and

expected to be here by the time you would be coming.

 

The period is:

 

July 18, 2002 through August 7, 2002
