Dear Bhakta Jan Prabhu, Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to our ever well-wisher Srila Prabhupada. Thank you very much for your email. 1) Sounds great. I like the idea. You have anything in mind what suitable shareware program can be used for this purpose? 2) Your web site is very nice and informative. Thank you for doing this. 3) I have for the next coming upgrade of VedaBase 2003 Bhurijana Prabhu's (with permission) his 'As They Surrender Unto Me' integrated with the Bhagavad-gita As It Is. In other words there are links from the end the Bg purports to the appropriate location in 'As They Surrender Unto Me' to enhance and expand ones study of the Bhagavad-gita. I am always keen to make enhancements in this area in particular. I am asking you, you being the right knowledgeable person, if any other improvements can be made in this manner? I noticed you have another Bhurijana's study guide on your web site, along with some other guides. Since time is getting very short until release, would you suggest if any of those texts are suitable for adaption as well? Your help or input would be most valuable and appreciated. Thank you very much. Hare Krishna. I trust this meets you well and in blissful spirits. Guest guest
Pamho. AgtSP! from: BLS asbl. / Belgium There is already a demo version of BG Folio on the BG interactive CD-Rom, published by BBT-NE The CD-Rom is available at a very reasonable price. The free demo version of BG Folio is in a separate directory and includes not only the full text of the BG but also the complete BG lectures given by HDG Srila Prabhupada with full search options. The prog is now a file called install.exe with approx 9 MB size and a small file with the Devanagari font. Maybe a bit large for download, but without the BG lectures it could be a more reasonable size and offered at www.vedabase.com as free shareware to try out. All research functions are active and therefore it would be a perfect tryout promotion tool for future clients to become familiar with the wonderful structure of folio program, which would be encouraging to buy later the full version. (Please note that if you install the demo for tryout while having already the full vedabase, the demo version will screw up your full version and you have to remove the demo and install again the full version afterwards.) > Text PAMHO:5698979 (11 lines) > (Bhakta) Jan Mares (NE-BBT Czech) > 23-Jun-02 16:02 +0200 > (BBT) Bhaktivedanta Archives Forum [749] > Comment: by Internet: Eddy Gaasbeek -Ekanatha dasa- (ACBSP) > BG folio freeware > --------------------------- > Dear Prabhus, ___o_ > > not so long time ago I downloaded from downloads.cnet.com (I guess) a > simple freeware Koran database.
