How to use bala2asc?

It converts text files from Balarama to ASCII. This is useful if you have

a quote from the Folio program and want it without the diacritics. But it

works only for text files or for RTF files written by the Folio program.

So in the Folio program you must save the text either as Text file, as

Generic Text file or in Rich Text Format (RTF).

 

After you saved it in a text file, run

bala2asc filename

Where 'filename' is the name of the file that you entered in the "Save As"

box of the Folio program.

 

Maybe I should write a version of bala2asc that directly converts the text

in the clipboard.
