Guest guest
> When I press my Folio Icon a sign comes up saying: > Unable to open infobase C:\VEDABASE\MVS\.sdw > the library was not found. Press Alt-Enter to open the properties of the Folio icon and make sure that the command line is C:\VEDABASE\BVIEWS.EXE -c C:\VEDABASE\VIEWS.INI -i C:\VEDABASE\VEDABASE.NFO When it says: "Unable to open infobase C:\VEDABASE\VEDABASE.NFO the library was not found." Then this can have following reasons: - The file C:\VEDABASE\VEDABASE.NFO is missing or corrupted. --> Copy it again from the CD. - You changed back the computer's date or time. --> Wait until the date in the computer is the same as when you last time run the Folio program (or call BA again to get a new password). Also make C:\VEDABASE\VEDABASE.NFO read-only. - The Folio program could not find VEDABASE.LDF. --> If it is missing, restore it from the backup. See also my recent texts in this conference. - You move VEDABASSE.LDF into another directory. --> Move it back. - You installed a new hard disk or you modified the partition table or you moved the Vedabase to another computer. --> call BA to get a new password.
