Copying Selected Text From New Vedabase While Deleting Diacritics

Dear prabhus,

 

 

Does anyone know an easy way of copying selected portions of Vedabase text

into a new file while deleting the diacritics?

 

I know that the 'export' feature can be used to place text into a file and

converting to text while deleting diacritics, but this doesn't appear to allow

for appending to a file that's already been created.

 

In other words, I have several selections that I want to place in a single

file.
