Guest guest
Dear recipient, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. A Finnish band called Damodara (consisting of devotees) published autumn-98 its first CD, which became (and still is) quite popular. The music is electronic drum´n´bass style and lyrics are throughout Krishna-conscious including Srila Prabhupada reciting Govindam adi purusam-prayers and extracts from Srila Suhotra Swami´s class. A national TV-company said they would like to play it but they need a video for that purpose. Now a second publication is on the way (CD-EP length approximately 20 minutes) and Damodara has already started the video project; they would like to have some Krishna conscious material on it. I am not part of the project other than that the devotees are my friends and I am doing this inquiry on their behalf. Would it be possible to use some black and white video material from the film of the devotees going to Surat in India with Srila Prabhupada ? It may exist in color as well, but for the purpose of the video black and white suits better. We do have a copy here in Finland so I am simply asking if Bhaktivedanta Archives would give their permission to take extracts from it for preaching purposes. The video will be noncommercial and positive about ISKCON and Srila Prabhupada; the aim is to make Krishna consciousness more known in Finland and perhaps in other countries as well. If you wish to know more details or this is wrong forum to ask and you know a better one, please let me know.
