Guest guest
Haribol! When I took initiation from my Guru Maharaja, I promised to him that I will chant at least 16 rounds each day, and also Srila Prabhupada said so many times that chanting is our the most important service to our Guru Maharaja. Otherwise, we could listen to our mind and chant less rounds, or, even we can stop chanting. ys Damodara Rati dasa
Guest guest
> Questioning Srila Prabhupada's chanting of Hare Krishna is tantamount to > saying that the gopis and radharani forgot Krishna for a split second !!!! > it is simply not possible !!!!!!! The question is simply whether Srila Prabhupada personally followed Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura's standard for preachers (minimum of 4 rounds) for the sake of spreading Krishna consciousness and saving time for translating Srimad Bhagavatam etc. It's not a question of whether he chanted 4 rounds because he didn't want to chant more (indeed, that's out of the question), but whether he chanted 4 rounds to save time for his glorious preaching activities. Guest guest
> Please restrain for making such comments on Srila Prabhupada's chanting. > Srila Prabhupada's acting as an acarya was perfect. Any doubts? Good point. > P.S.: > I am wondering what this has to do with Brahmacarya. Perhaps we have had enough of this thread. Let us chant our 16 rounds and pray to the previous acaryas for forgiveness in case we accidentally offended them in the course of our discussion, and let us go on with our spiritual life. your servant, the insignificant moderator of this conference known as Brahmacarya, Krishna-kripa das
