Guest guest
Ayustejo balam viryam prajana srisca yasastatha punyamsca satpriyatvanca vardhate brahmacaryaya "By the practice of brahmcarya, longevity, luster, strength, vigor, knowledge, beauty, fame, piety and devotion to truth increase." This quote appears in Sivananda Swami's book on brahmacarya. Mahamantra Prabhu's observation that it is ok to take information about brahmacarya even from Mayavadis is supported by the following quote from SB 2.6.20 purport. "Basically there is no difference between the process of Buddhists, Sankarites and Vaisnavites. For promotion to the highest status of perfection, namely freedom from birth and death, anxiety and fearfulness, not one of these processes allows the follower to break the vow of celibacy."
