Guest guest
Love is the wish for others to be happy, and to help others find this happiness; desirous attachment is the selfish feeling of ego-fueling. One is filled with thoughts like 'I want you, I need you to make me feel happy'. But still, attachment is most commonly confused with love. Due to our delusions, we always build up attachment after finding love. Funnily enough, attachment is the complete opposite thing to love. Love is for others; attachment is selfish. This leads to the greatest downfall of all: it strengthens our self-grasping (false ego).
