Guest guest
Prabhupada would have said that marriage is for those who don't read my books. Prabhupada said that 90 or 95 or 99 percent of his devotees would get married. If the above mentionned statement by Prabhupada is actually true, it implies that practically ALL of Prabhupada's disciples do not read his books. It is true that Prabhupada complained that his disciples did not read his books enough, but to go as far as to say that marriage is for those who do not read his books sounds, in my humble opinion, completely ludicrous and insane. If you take this statement to its' logical end, then ALL grihasthas, including His Grace Ravindra Svarupa Prabhu, His Grace Prithu Prabhu and many other great learned scholars who are married in ISKCON do not read Prabhupada's books. With all due respect, does that even sound anywhere near to logical? Your servant, Candrasekhar Acarya dasa
