Maharaj: The point is that everyone in this material world is here only for a

short period of time. Just like there is a science called palmistry. How many

of our guests here know the science of palmistry? Anyone here know palmistry?

We'll teach you the way how you can tell the future, your future in one minute.

How many guests here would like to learn the science by which you can tell

someone's future in one minute? How many of you would like to learn? (short

pause) Noone wants to find out what their future is. (laughing) Anyway, I'll

teach you anyhow. Everyone here has a hand. If you look at your hand there is a

line that runs from the index finger all the way down to the thumb, the base of

the thumb. You can look at it and you can see that there is a line that runs

along there that goes whole the way down and it goes down, down to the base of

the wrist. And what do you see?

Guest: It splits in two.

Maharaj: And what happens after that.

Guest: It ends.

Maharaj: Yes! That is your future!

(silence for a second and then everyone, including Maharaj, starts laughing)
