Dear devotees,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All

glories to the ISKCON gurus.

I would like to publicly apologize for any and all ad hominem remarks that I

made to His Holiness Sadhu Swami. I spoke out of personal frustration many

times, due to regretting that an friend of mine had gone to take sannyasa in

the Gaudiya Matha, thus making our mutual dealings forever changed.

Krsna Kripa Prabhu raised a sanguine point: Should this brahmacarya

conference be only for ISKCON devotees or should it include a wider

audience?

If you want my opinion, I will say that this conference should indeed be

restricted to ISKCON devotees.

Sadhu Maharaja is speaking from Sastra, but so do all the Gaudiya Matha

devotees as well. This does not mean that they are welcome to give lectures

in ISKCON temples. I think the same policy should be upheld for this

conference.

If Sadhu Maharaja is allowed to be in this conference, he will be its most

frequent contributor, as the past has shown. Personally, I have a problem

with being part of a conference in which the main contributor is coming from

the Gaudiya Matha. Srila Prabhupada made numerous clear statements about how

intimately we should associate with the Gaudiya Matha devotees, and the

current GBC policy on this issue is very clear as well.

Since "Brahmacarya" is the ONLY current brahmacari conference available for

ISKCON brahmacaris to take shelter of, I think that it should remain

exclusive to the ISKCON members. On the other hand, I have no problems

whatsoever with creating a second brahmacari conference, which would allow

anyone to join and contribute to it. But there should be at least one

brahmacari conference organized by and dedicated to the ISKCON devotees

exclusively. Since the membership of this conference is already made up of

mostly ISKCON devotees, I humbly suggest that it remain so, and even more

so.

Your humble servant,

Candrasekhar Acarya dasa
