Is it really inspiring for some to put fellow devotees down? To feel betters then others? Is that the way to maintain an ashram? That's so unfortunate. I was ten years a brahmacarini. We didn't need conferences putting men down to be able to maintain our ashram. We studied Prabhupada's books and concentrating on our service... That's what I thought I would find here too, those inspiring things. Although we all know that women need a lot more 'protection' from men, then men need from women. See Iskcon's history. Lighten up, no need to feel stepped on your toes. Your thing of if you don't like it, go somewhere is, is exactly what the half of Iskcon is doing, because of the results of conferences like this, or not these conferences persé, but the unhealthy dynamics. Good luck anyways...
