Guest guest
Thank you maharaja for your input. > prABHupada evidentally thought so, otherwise why did he establish in early > Iskcon the wearing of them vis a vis karmi underwear? Did he really established it, or the devotees just started by their own...? > in sat kriya sara dipika, mantras are chanted over the sannyasi's kaupinas > offering them to Vishnu for protection of a sannyasa candidates celebacy. What about new comers? Some of them think weird to use kaupinas. Is it not a against the principle of preaching? Some new comers may not participate in the "Bhakta Program" just because they do not want to wear kaupinas. These kind of new comers should lose the opportunity to be trained and engaged in devotional service? > > Should we abandon the use of kaupinas? > > never! I consider it a regulative part of male vaisnava dress. Let me put it in another way. Should new comers accept the use of kaupinas, or should we reject them, due to their inability to use them?
