Guest guest
A friend of mine attended a seminar on the life of HDG Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura held by HH Bhakti Vikasa Swami last Gura Purnima in Sri Mayapura-dhama. Here's one story: One man (may as well be a disciple of BSST) was attending a class by Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati when all of a sudden he got up in the middle of the class and started walking away. Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati asked him, "Why are you going away?" Man replied, "Maharaj, my son is very ill and I have to go home to take care of him." Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati said, "Then leave him to die, but stay and hear the Bhagavatam." P.S. For those that don't know, HH Bhakti Vikasa Swami is writting a book on the life of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura. I hope it'll be out soon. As I've heard - it already has around 1,000 pages. Longing to read that nectar..........
