So, below I present you short except from the lecture of HH Srila Suhotra

Swami (28-Dec-96, Wroclaw, Poland, SB 6.3.23):

 

"(...) We're cheating ourselves identifing with this body. And then, we cheat

others. This is sum and substance of this material life. We cheat ourselves of

our eternal life full of knowledge, full of bliss by thinking: "I am this

temporary body which is full of ignorance and full of suffering". And then

having accepted this bad habit, then we perceive into so many further bad

cheating habits, in our relationships with everyone else. Everyaone else we

are cheating: "Hallo, how are you? I am my body!" You see, this way of

relating: introducing ourselves, smiling, shaking hands, becoming friends -

all this is cheating! It's maya. It's illusion. You are not this body. So

we're just cheating one another - smiling. You see, smiling. Just like when

girls smile at boys if they like, then the boys think: "oh! this looks so

nice." But the smiling lips they are like, you know these... snails.

(laughter) Just like two snails stuck together stretching

khhhhhllll..(laughter) That's what they really are. You see, two sticky lumps

of flesh, stretching like snail (laughter). When you see that, you see a snail

crawling around, you think: "oh, very horrible!" But put the same thing, two

lumps of flash together, on the face of the woman and then stretch it: "Oh! so

beautiful!" (laughter) So this is all cheating. So therefore we are all

rascals. (...) Because we are cheating, in the deepest heart we know that. And

everybody else is cheating. We're trying to cheat them, they are trying to

cheat us. (...)"
