Len returns, with Varahi Devi

Back in January, I went away for a week, and fearful of what my back

E-mails would look like after being ignored for seven days, I put the

busiest of the Lists (including Shakti Sadhana, of course!) on "No Mail."

 

I recently got an off-list note from Ganpra, asking what had happened

to me. (Thank you, Ganpra, for thinking of me.) I've been busy. I

got VERY active on the Shakti-Wicca List, as an assistant Moderator

(I'm still quite attracted to Wicca, although I've stepped down as

High Priest of my coven). I've been depressed since my father passed

away last summer. I'm just beginning to get involved in New York's

Disabled In Action Singers, a group of cripples like me who appear to

protest political misbehavior by City functionaries, and do so by

singing satirical ballads.

 

But, spurred by Ganpra's note, I've been missing the cameraderie of

SS. And then the coincidences began to gather. The guru and

astrologer, Sri Siva Baba, sent a notice that he will be performing a

Varahi Homa in India this coming Friday May 26th (the New Moon, in

Krittika)-- I'll forward a copy of Sri Siva's post. And I got a

notice from the site, Exotic India, that the painting of Varahi which

I put a down-payment on well over a year ago, is finally ready! It

appears that Ma Varahi really wants my attention.

 

So I'm back. I'm looking at my Shakti Sadhana posts again. It will

be good to reaquaint myself with all of you. Shanti Om, my brothers

and sisters.
