KAsthA is the final doctrine set forth by the VedAnta passages. The SU-sam says, "Whether visible or invisible, real or unreal it is the supreme Siva. Thus the final declaration of the VedAnta passages is called KAstha" The Sruti {Katha. Up., III. 11] :"She is the goal, she is the supreme way". KAstha is the wife of the supreme Siva in the form of the ether called Bhima and the mother of heavan. The Linga Pr. says "The divine Siva called Bhima in the form of ether giving space for all things animate and inanimate. The wife of this glorious divine, supreme Bhima, is called KAstha; [heavan] is their son" The VAyu Pr. also repeats the same. KAstha, as she stands after crossing. The Sruti [sve. Up., III. 14] says, "He stood ten inches beyond" The Bh-gitA [X.42], "I do abide by a portion prevailing this entire universe" BhAskararAya's Commentary Translated into English by R. Ananthakrishna Sastry. ------------------------ Sponsor --------------------~--> Home is just a click away.
