Dear Wishalot:

There are several Kundalini Yoga exercises to balance support the glands and

in particular the thyroid and parathyroid glands.

One such exercise that helps balance the thyroid gland is the following:

Stand up, hands in prayer pose at the chest, elbows relaxed at the sides.

Inhale deeply and extend the arms up and lean back to 60 degrees from the

horizontal, dropping your head back. Exhale and return to the original

position. Continue for 1-3 minutes.

Another good exercise is to sit cross legged and inhale while turning your

head to the left, exhale as you turn your head to the right ("NO" signs).

Hands in Guan mudra (index tip touching the thumb tip in each hand, arms

straight, hands resting on your knees).

Aside from these, any Kundalini Yoga set will help you relax, detox, and

prepare you for meditation.

My mother healed herself from Graves disease by removing from her diet foods

that she's allergic to and paying more attention to stressors in her life,

learning to breathe through them and calming herself down instead of mulling

over and over everything that stressed her. She had to say no to doctors who

wanted to surgically remove her thyroid and give her supplements for the

rest of her life. She had to ask her doctor for a blood test that would show

what specific foods she was allergic to. Her thyroid output is completely

normal now and has been for at least a year if not 2.

Blessings,

Awtar S.
