The Thank You Thang

I already thanked Mary...

 

And....

 

I will never ever forget the fabulous and wonderful ³Ms Sis² Sabine Stetson,

who supported me like a mother for years and still does.

 

Like her, Nitin Shah, brother of Kirit, who gave me my Mercedes that I still

love and drive which I would feel strange without. It is nowadays all

painted all over with Celtic art, and the license plate says ³Kelt². Simply

Fabulous. I cannot thank Nitin Shah of Piedmont CA enough.

 

There are many of you who have been very kind to me over the years, and I

cannot even remember you all clearly, so I will fail here today at listing

you. There has been help and love from many, and what to speak of all those

of you who bought my program which literally supported me.

 

Many of you tried to heal me, and I thank you for that. I am slowly getting

better always.

 

I¹m thankful to all of you for tolerating each other¹s divergent views, and

my strange changes over time. I think this is a great list in that way..the

toleration and diversity is lovely.

 

Since I¹m getting older and you never know how long you have left, I would

like to make a little list and offering to really huge players in my life:

 

My Mom, the sainted one, my Dad, the hero, my Irish ancestors,

Hansadutta, my first Guru who showed me the world

Sridhar Maharaj, my second, who showed me what knowledge was,

Who also showed me eloquence, and the fineness of the Bengali way,

My wife, Kilimba, who was a very good wife and mother,

Bernadette, who showed me too much to list, and showed me what a

Broken heart really is

My Shrink, Dr Telew, who has saved my life by his profession

David, the found of the Omnis programming language

M. Erlewine, for giving astrology code to the world

Shanks, for giving the atlas we all use to the world

Barry Cunliffe, for showing me what celtic really was

Baine, for showing us how to celtic art

Vercingetorix, for sacrificing his life so that Celtic may never die

Boudicea, for the same, her life, for us, forever

Steve Jobs, for the Macintosh, and the crew at the lab who invented it

Ratna, my daughter, for being so excellent and such a good friend to me

My siblings, for being my siblings, it was a great family, there are 11 of

us!

Father Matt and Brother Pat, for being my teenage mentors

Laksman, for tolerating and befriending me and Bernadette

Johansen, for showing me Scandinavia is such a fine way

All the woman who ever loved me for loving me

All the Indians who helped me know India

Especially Prabhupada and BV Raman and Kamala Subramanian

And the countless Indian authors who¹s books I¹ve read

Karen, for being my first real girlfriend and living in my memory

My early Godbrothes and Godsisters in the movement who tolerated me

Puspadanta and Divya, for being my friends for years when others wouldn¹t

My son Ekendra, for being such a winner totally on his own, amazing...

The monks who wrote down the Celtic stories

The monks who painted the book of Kells

Fiona, for being my first grandchild and for being so loving, so perfect

 

In the end, when I think of the one person who stands out the most overall

in my life, it has to be Hansadutta, for what he did had such a huge impact

on the rest of my life.

 

But in more recent decades, Bernadette stands out, a girlfriend, a friend, a

teacher, a nemisis, everything, but still, somebody I call all the time for

friendly chatter and more, though she lives far far away, she is still such

a good friend, and she held my head while cried for years. That has to be

remembered. When I went through mental agony and hell, she was there.

 

And you list, you are very important to me, because you are always my

friend, always there to listen, and reply. This amazing interent has

allowed friends to connect, from all over, and many of you are my friends.

I¹m really grateful for the listening you¹ve done for me, and the help

you¹ve provided to me.
