Dear All,

In Jan of 2005, Shree Maa and Swamiji lit the sacred fire at the Mandir

- signifying the start of a 3 year Chandi yajna, probably the only one

of its kind in the Western Hemisphere if not in the world. The sacred

fire burns 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.

How did we start the fire? In the traditional vedic way - with the use

of two pieces of wood and a rope. A few of us were lucky to be there to

watch the the fire and the start of the yajna. Now you can watch it too.

Please see http://www.shreemaa.org/drupal/node/105

<http://www.shreemaa.org/drupal/node/105> - and the video "Starting the

Holy Fire at the Mandir"

We are soooooo fortunate to have amidst us two great souls that have

made Napa a place of pilgrimage, and made Chandi a part of our lives.

Shree Maa ki Jai!!!!

Swamiji Ki JAI !!!!

Nanda
