Guest guest
Namaste Advaitins, Thanks to that soul that conceived of this concept. Linking the Gita Sloka and the Lotus leaf!! The excellent picture on the Advaitin Home Page sends soothing messages to the mind. There is a Sri Muthuswamy Dikshitar composition in Raga Kalyani: KamalaambaaM Bhajare, re Maanasa! Kalpita-maayA-kAryam tyajare! O my mind! contemplate on the Divine Mother KamalaambA, the one seated on the Lotus, and give up samsara that is a product of the unreal MAyA. Pranams, subbu Discussion of Shankara's Advaita Vedanta Philosophy of nonseparablity of Atman and Brahman. Advaitin Homepage at: Terms of Service. The Lotus is the Lotus of our Heart - HRdayakamalam. The Mother seated on the Heart-Lotus is Jagat-janani, the Atman, the Supreme Cause of the Universe. When Atman is contemplated upon, the mithya jagat recedes into insignificance. Pranams, subbu > Discussion of Shankara's Advaita Vedanta Philosophy of nonseparablity of Atman and Brahman.
