Sat Nam,

I have a question about the meditation to open the

Heart Center:

Book: Transitions to a Hear-Centered World, P131

Title:Deep Meditation to Open Heart Center

What would be the duration for this meditation?

there are sequences listed on how one should chant Hum

"16 Times as you exhale. Then deeply inhale and

completely exhale 4 times and hold to prevent chest

pain. Repeat from begining, this time chanting "Hum"

20 times. Repeat again, chanting "Hum" 24 times."

ok so is this how you do it?

16 times - Hum

inhale then exhale with 4 segments, hold

20 times - Hum

inhale then exhale with 4 segments, hold

24 times - Hum

inhale then exhale with 4 segments, hold

then what ?

Please help me to find a meditation or kriya,

something 31 minutes long with mantra, that would help

soften and open the heart center.

Thank you in advance,

Vito

Dear Vito:

I think the only info you need is that when the description says:

"Deeply inhale and completely exhale 4 times" this is meant to be 4 complete

breaths, not an inhale followed by 4 exhales.
