Dear Maharajas, Prabhus and Prabhvis:

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All

glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga.

The ISKCON Lawbook (An Upto Date Compilation Of All ISKCON Laws from 1975 to

1997), published by the GBC Press, is finally with the printers and should

be out in a couple of days' time. (Actually it was due much earlier but

because I had made a mistake it was delayed. Sorry.) We are printing 1000

copies for this first run. The book is 9" tall and 6.5" wide with 208 pages,

softbound.

The cost of the ISKCON Lawbook is US$ 2.50 or Rs. 90.00 per copy.

Many ISKCON Managers (GBC Members, GBC Deputies, Regional Secretaries, and

Temple Presidents) have already ordered the Lawbook. We shall ship them

their copies as soon as they come out of the press. The others can order

them too.

Here's some information about the ISKCON Lawbook in case you don't know

about it yet:

"This volume will serve the GBC, ISKCON Leaders and all devotees as a useful

sourcebook of information in the practical affairs of executing devotional

service within our institution. It is the hope of the GBC Body that the

Vaishnavas in Srila Prabhupada's great movement will be satisfied with this

compilation of ISKCON Law." -- An excerpt from HH Suhotra Swami Maharaja's

preface about the Lawbook.

"It ... has been organized in a systematic way for (hopefully) ease of use.

.. . This revised Law Book will supercede all previous versions of the Laws

as the wordings have been revised under authority of the GBC. So if you want

to know ISKCON LAW, this book is the authoritative resource for that. Every

temple devotee should have his/her copy and initiated congregation should

probably get one also." -- HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaja.
