Guest guest
Incredible! And devotees conduct it! Anything is good to preach KC. If I can give you an advice, keep this kind of politic for countries where such ridiculous comments may play a role. But don’t publish it on Internet. You will just demonstrate our Iskcon is naive and opportunist. Don’t we have any ethic to stand for or should we also transcend good and bad in political relationship. What is next? A smiling picture of the Chinese ambassador with Gopal Krsna Maharaja in Hare Krishna World proclaiming religion as the solution for the world problems? “Russian Ambassador, who was the Chief Guest at the ISKCON opening, said: "In today's world we have seen how bad it is when people are driven by horror, by a desire to impose something on others. In this connection, compassion and peace, harmony and coexistence, respect for each other's ideas and beliefs, has been a very constant and one of the brilliant features of the ISKCON movement. We do have very close cultural, religious, ethical cooperation with your society.” Yes, I read well: “We do have very close cultural, religious, ethical cooperation with your society.” I hope not. Akhilesvara dasa Russian Ambassador Alexander Kadakin, who was the Chief Guest at the opening, acknowledged the outstanding contribution of many Russian devotee artists to this multinational project. "In today's world we have seen how bad it is when people are driven by horror, by a desire to impose something on others," said Mr. Kadakin in his speech at the opening function. "In this connection, compassion and peace, harmony and coexistence, respect for each other's ideas and beliefs, has been a very constant and one of the brilliant features of the ISKCON movement. We do have very close cultural, religious, ethical cooperation with your society. As you know, there are more than 150 branches [of ISKCON] throughout Russia and the republics of the former Soviet Union. It only shows that the message of your religion has attraction for the people, among other things, because this is the message of peace, of love and of compassion," stated the Ambassador of Russia.
