Tuesday, October 2 - Ancient India reincarnated in a 3D multimedia shape, as

the Russian Ambassador Alexander KADAKIN unveiled a new multimedia museum at

ISKCON-Hinduja Glory of India Vedic Cultural Center in East of Kailash, New

Delhi.

The 10,000 sq. ft. hi-tech presentation takes the modern mind a step closer

to the mysteries of the Vedas. Here a computerized virtual guide with

narration-synched spotlights will lead visitors on a tour around

three-dimensional dioramas covering over 2.5 billion years of past and

future history of the human race.

As visitors walk through Mahabharata, Srimad Bhagavatam and Ramayana

displays, they also explore Vedic atomic science, embryology, aeronautics

and astrophysics. Another section, Forbidden Archeology, reveals original 2

billion years old artifacts presenting an astounding challenge to Darwin's

theory of evolution. Yet another section, Mysterious Orbits, tests the

accuracy of Puranic cosmology against modern astronomical data. Finally,

visitors get a glimpse beyond the universal limits in a mystifying Krishna

Vision quadroscope show, unique of its kind in the world.

Russian Ambassador Alexander Kadakin, who was the Chief Guest at the

opening, acknowledged the outstanding contribution of many Russian devotee

artists to this multinational project. "In today's world we have seen how

bad it is when people are driven by horror, by a desire to impose something

on others," said Mr. Kadakin in his speech at the opening function. "In this

connection, compassion and peace, harmony and coexistence, respect for each

other's ideas and beliefs, has been a very constant and one of the brilliant

features of the ISKCON movement. We do have very close cultural, religious,

ethical cooperation with your society. As you know, there are more than 150

branches [of ISKCON] throughout Russia and the republics of the former

Soviet Union. It only shows that the message of your religion has attraction

for the people, among other things, because this is the message of peace, of

love and of compassion," stated the Ambassador of Russia.

The ISKCON Glory of India Vedic Cultural Center in New Delhi was inaugurated

on April 5,1998 by Indian Prime Minister Atal Vajpayee, who also commended

ISKCON for "…globalization of the Bhagavad-Gita appeal… in scores of

languages in all nooks and corners of the world."

ISKCON, formally the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, was

founded in 1966 by the eminent Indian philosopher and spiritual leader

A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (1896-1977). It presently counts over 450

temples and cultural centers worldwide. ISKCON seeks to establish India's

spiritual heritage globally and offers spiritual solutions to contemporary

problems.
