Guest guest
Red Start Nutritional Yeast is made from molasses, and contains many B vitamins we need but don't get, because we don't eat meat. Some don't like it, but some do. I use it in soup broths and over veggies. It makes a good flavor on popcorn, kind of cheesy. Yamuna refers to eating some breads in her Yamuna's Table book, so I don't know if that means something? They were breads that are obviously made with yeast (french baguettes, etc). I just ran across a recipe in her book that called for mushrooms. I thought we didn't take mushrooms because they were fungus. Anyone have any comments on mushrooms?
