I was hearing that rock candy is a good source of sugar, maybe this is

the same as your Florida Crystals. The reason for this type I beleive is

necessary for the making of certain Indian sweets, whereas brown sugar,

or gour, would not make those sweets properly.

The point in the 'sugar papers' was; is it necessary to consume so many

mangalaratika sweets, especially the young children? It has been

commented that they can become 'hyper active' and suffer teeth problems

from the high white sugar content. Does Krsna need so many sweets? Sure

the offering is nice, but what about more devotees getting to buy milk

and drinking milk in the temple? Drinking milk in this way gives one the

option to avoid so much white sugar, when they can add gour or brown

sugar. Again, it may be to do with profit margins? I know the Indians in

England donate tons of white sugar.

Your servant,

Radha Krsna das.

P.S. Does anyone know how to make Greek Style Yoghurt?
