Guest guest
One devotee here has told me that if you reheat rice it becomes poison. . . but I've come across this quote from Srila Prabhupada: ". . . Regarding the preparation of rice by steaming and then drying, we can offer such rice even it is twice-cooked. Gaudiya Math offers, even during the presence of Prabhupada (Srila Bhaktisiddhanta) it was done, so there is no wrong. It is called sidha. I never took sidha except in Gaudiya Math. . .." Can someone clarify this for me? I'd like to hear the source of your answer as well, because I've heard about this poison rice for years but no one can tell me where they get the information thanks ys Sudama das
Guest guest
It seems to me that Srila Prabhupada is referring to the cooking process and not re-heating. ". . . Regarding the preparation of rice . . ." Srila Prabhupada did say that you can double boil the rice in a bowl, anyone have a reference to that?
