Guest guest
Yes, langosh is quite delicious in the ways Bhakta Rudi prabhu described it. My granny used to make it for lunch, and the secret is that the dough has to be really soft. The dough itself is just normal bread dough taking 1kg plain flour adding 2 teaspoons salt, 50 gramms(2oz) yeast, 2-3 tablespoons of oil, sprinkle of sugar and using tepid water making a soft and I would dare to say even a bit sticky dough and then you really need to knead it thoroughly leaving it to rise once. Then you take enough two make 2-3 good size puris roll it out and slip it into hot oil. Fry it for just a brief time so that it doesn't become too crispy. This amount would make enough langosh for 4-6 hungry devotees with some nice soup and a salad. And serve it with any topping suggested. ys Gokulananda Das
