Guest guest
It is permissible amongst grhasthas that there are communications as friends between the men and women, although this is not really the best thing and can also lead to illicit activities. But for brahmacaris and brahmacarinis or brahmacaris and married women it is not advisable at all. We have to always remember that men are like butter and women are like fire. Although we may have 'friends' and so on, this principle is important to remember as forgetting it can seriously affect our spiritual life. We have to maintain that separation in order to protect ourselves. Since all our devotees are very important in ISKCON and we require their services and association, we should always keep the proper distances so that we can go on without being sidetracked and thrown off the path by maya.
