How are > they attracted to each other if the sex principle is not there? And > if sex is there to a small degree then does that not mean that there > is a tinge of desire to imitate Krishna? In Vaikuntha, there is relationship, as there also is in Goloka. Having a relationship with others does not necessarily mean a sexual relationship. For example, there are relationships between men or between women that have no sexual connotations. The husbands and wives in Vaikuntha relate with each other with Krsna or Visnu as the center of their lives. It is not that the center of their lives is each other. This is the main difference. In the material world, when we speak of conjugal relationships, we are speaking of the love that generates between male and female and that is the central point of their existence. But in Vaikuntha, although there is relation between male and female, that is not the central point, rather, it is only accepted because it is the arrangement of the Lord that the Vaikuntha people have consorts. What do they do together? They serve the Lord together, they talk about the Lord together, they are eager to meet the Lord while together and so on. Thus their relationship is only in connection with the Lord and nothing else. Selfish relations are not possible in Vaikuntha.
