Guest guest
Once in Calcutta, the cook put peas in the subji on ekadasi. I was sick so I ate without the peas. Then Tamal Krsna Maharaj went to Srila Prabhupada, who was taking a bath at the time, and told him through the door that everyone ate peas. Prabhupada was furious and said that they should fast for two days. I do not think that anyone did that. Observing Ekadasi later is useless since it is meaningless. You have broken ekadasi and that is that. Next year you should fast totally from food and drink of all kinds on Pandava Nirjala Ekadasi and HOPE that this will relieve you of the reactions for breaking ekadasi. And in the future, make sure that this nonsense never happens again. The foolish cook will get all kinds of reactions for this. Pray for him/her.
