It simply means that the usual path back to Godhead is through the

human form of life. Since he was in an animal form, he got the

benefit of elevation to a brahmana's form and from there he easily

went back to Godhead. For any other human, thinking of Krsna

favorably at the time of death is the means to return to the Lord's

abode.
