Guest guest
Dear Govinda Madhava prabhu, Please accept my humble obeisances. All gloires to Srila Prabhupada. You once offered a while ago that I could send a question to the HKS Q & A conference via you. Whenever I try, it doesnt' work. Hope you don't mind. And of course, if you think its not a good question please don't send it. Thanks. Hope this meets you and your family in the best of health. Y.s. Please accept my humble obeisances. Lord Krsna emphasizes the importance of being "equipoised" both in happiness and distress, fame and infamy throughout His instructions in His Bhagavad Gita. Although Krsna didn't let it go that Satraji had wrongly accused Him of stealing the Syamantaka Jewel. Krsna made an elaborate arrangement to counteract Satrajits accusations by bringing many family members out to the forest, setting up camp and then personally investigating the situation. The Lord was gone for quite some time after entering Jambavan's cave and His entire family was very worried about him. And He did all this to show He had not stolen the jewel, nor harmed Prasena. Being the detached and self-sufficient Supreme Lord, He didn't have to prove anything. And His instructions in BG ask that we remain equipoised and steady in all conditions. This question has most likely been asked before, and of course the Lord has His loving pastimes, but His actions from the atheists' view would be that Krsna is not God if He has to prove something? Thank you. your servant, Sucharya dd ___________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
